I refuse to feel any chagrin over not knowing that the name Ban Ki-moon is Korean for, “the most boring person in the world wins it all, you’ll see,” but it’s really turrible that I didn’t know someone by that moniker replaced Kofi Annan over a year and a half ago! I can’t tell if it’s a good thing that major UN affairs don’t make rippling headlines anymore.
